This conference is a unique opportunity for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to come together to showcase our outstanding individual and collective talents. We will present, discuss, debate and summarise the elements of our professional lives that bind us together and work towards building the influence and capacity that can be realised through the AHPs speaking with one voice.

Call for Abstracts
The Allied Health Workforce Strategy Group and Health Sector Conferences on behalf of District Health Boards are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for the presentation at the 2008 Allied Health – Practice and Leadership for Our Future Conference.
We welcome interest from individuals and groups on topics related to the conference themes or other subjects of particular relevance to allied health practitioners in the health sector.
We are seeking offers of high quality presentations and will select and group these to present an exciting and challenging programme for 2008.

The Leadership Master Class for Allied Health Leaders in DHBs
The one day Master Class will be run by four highly successful internationally respected allied health speakers, researchers and leaders. This class has been developed so that we can identify, support and grow our allied health leaders. The class will be targeted at DHB allied health leaders who could be in a professional leader/advisor role or an allied health manager. Numbers will be restricted to 60 in order to optimise learning.
