DHBRF Workshop: Innovation for Health - Sharing Knowledge and Building Relationships
Venue: Te Papa Tongarewa, Museum of New Zealand, Wellington
Date: 10 - 12 October 2007
District Health Boards, researchers, policy makers and community groups are invited to the inaugural District Health Board Research Fund Workshop – Innovation for Health. The purpose of the workshop is to create an environment for shared learning, to assist in building research capacity, to enhance the translation of research knowledge across the sector and to profile the District Health Board Research Fund.
The themes for the workshop are:
- Partnership in action - developing and maintaining partnerships for health outcomes
- Knowledge creation - generating the appropriate knowledge for health outcomes
- Knowledge brokering - creating and sustaining opportunities for knowledge transfer
- Sector Environment - promoting an innovation culture for health outcomes
Confirmed keynote speakers include: Hon Pete Hodgson, Hon. Steve Maharey, Mr Stephen McKernan, Dr Lynne Maher, Professor Mason Durie and Mr David Clarke.
